Can Spirituality Be Sexy?

I want a trouble-maker for a lover, blood spiller, blood drinker, a heart of flame, who quarrels with the sky and fights with fate, who burns like fire on the rushing sea.

Love is everything. Today we are going to talk about its sexy side.

When we embody love, we understand that "we are all one" and aren't separate from everything else. Meditation can guide you along the path to becoming love, but you can also discover this place through sacred sexuality.

Similar to how matter and energy are interchangeable, spirituality is the creative energy of reality - The Goddess energy, if you will. In Tantra, it is actually this Goddess energy that we engage with and make love to through our spiritual practices. This is not an act of worshiping a woman or anything else on the physical plane. It is about exploring our deeper nature and discovering where it exists within us.

One of the unexpected benefits — at least for me — of becoming a Reiki practitioner is that you learn how to redirect your life force energy to different areas of your body. Your sacral chakra, which is located right beneath your navel, not only is connected to your creative self but your sexual one as well. Channeling your energy to this chakra during sex can improve your overall health, love life, and libido.

Becoming enlightened means being sacred from the inside out and having great sex can help you get there. A holistic approach to having better sex means doing your best to keep the life force energy moving through your body and mind. Being mindful of what you’re doing, thinking, and feeling while engaged in sex can help you slow down, connect with your partner and reach a deeper state of ecstasy.

The way you make love is the way God will be with you.
